National Day of Action for Improved Medicare for All on Saturday, April 8th.
April 8th will come at a crucial moment as it’s also the first day of a two-week “April recess” when Members of Congress return to their districts and will have to face constituents. Now that the AHCA has been defeated, it’s time to get serious about making healthcare available and affordable for all!
Boston Medical Center serves as a safety net institution, serving a high percentage of Medicaid and uninsured patients. Join us to hear legislators, providers, and patients speak out about the inadequacy of the ACA and the ways in which single-payer would allow us to control costs, improve access, and provide high quality care for all patients.
The exact location of this event will be announced during the week of March 27th.
